Hi. I’m René.

I’m an independent Software Craftsman, Trainer and Consultant. I’m deep into the Java and Spring ecosystems, database technology, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), containerization and more cloudy stuff.

I’m a member of the Apache Software Foundation and serve as the Apache Struts Project Management Committee Chair.

Besides that, I’m also a semi-professional diver and dive instructor. If there’s a sunken wreck next to where you live, chances are you will spot me there sooner or later wearing a couple of gas tanks.
